OEM Issues

Audi gets forgotten. It's no secret, despite being a part of the largest automaker in the world it gets forgotten. It's not just Volkswagen, it's the VAG group, AKA Volkswagen Audi Group. It isn't a luxury brand that is made by Volkswagen. Like Lexus is to Toyota its actually it is it's own entity, equal to Volkswagen, even going as far as to own its own market subsidiaries. The German market as a whole is guilty of forgetting Audi. Despite being one of the "big 3" luxury brands in Germany BMW and Mercedes get 10x the spotlight as Audi. But that's only because people sleep on Audi. BMW is known for horrible reliability and pricey repairs, and Mercedes is known for being expensive all around, but Audi? it's just that German luxury car. Why are they so forgotten? It's because they are so uncontroversial. Even when VW had the big diesel scam, Audi was never in the focus. It was just VW. BMW and Mercedes put out EVs that had the terrible range or failed within miles of driving off the lot. Audi? Their E-Tron line has gone unnoticed because it is so uncontroversial it gets forgotten despite its extremely high quality. Audi is seen as unobtainable and forgettable at the same time. Overshadowed by the other german companies, because it's not on the news for a recall or because a criminal was driving one. yet Audi does nothing about it? It's frustrating, knowing such amazing cars are out there, yet you barely ever see them. When was the last time you saw an Audi on the road? Can't remember I bet, because it blended in so well.
