A Teen's Perspective

Older Audi's are starting to fall in price, wether it be low demand, increased mileage, or people not wanting to front the repair bills. The prices are crashing, cars that MSRP at nearly 70k can be found for less than 20k just 5 years later. With that, the younger generation can afford these incredible driving machines. One such person is my co-worker Tike. Tike drives a 2006 A4 avant. But previously had a 2002 A4. I asked him one question.

"Why Audi?"

"I guess it goes all the way back to when I was little. One of my first memories was being in my dad's 2005 S4. I actually have the exact steering wheel out of that car in my car now. Even though its a downgrade it's just so nostalgic. Being little and getting driven around in such a fun car stuck with me I guess. It wasn't until I was old enough to drive that I really realized how much I loved Audi. My first car was a Beetle, and although I loved that thing it wasn't what I wanted. I wanted an Audi. When I finally got one I was nervous I didn't want the nostalgia to be ruined, But as soon as I got in the driver seat and let the clutch out, and got moving it all came flooding back, and now that I know more about cars I'm gad I got into Audi's. The tuning possibilities are endless, and the aftermarket support is booming even on a 20-year-old car. I couldn't be happier that I chose this brand. I'll probably own Audi's for the rest of my life."
